Ashura, the guardian diety from Bhuddism descend. Ashura has three faces, 6 hands that hold to swords and other items. Ashura is like a hawk, flying high above and looking down on others, and yet outwardly displaying justice, worship, wisdom, and faith. In Koufuku-ji Temple in Nara, Japan, you can find a statue that depicts a different kind of Ashura. This Ashura is wearing a solemn cosctume and colored in plain colors. This sukajan is reversable with gold arms on one side, and a full golden design on the inside.
